Venue Policies & guidelines

  • Space capacity is up to 90 ppl theater style, 80 ppl in rounds, 60 ppl classroom style, and up to 90 ppl cocktail/reception style. Room diagrams are available upon request.
  • Free street parking is available throughout surrounding neighborhood. Additionally, there are three public metered parking lots within a block.
  • Pets are welcome in the venue as long as there is a designated caregiver with them at all times.
  • The rental of the venue does not include linens, tableware, furniture, or event decor. Our Sales Professionals are happy to recommend vendors.
  • The venue comes clean slate and empty. Renter is responsible for all event staff and upkeep during the event. Event attendants can be provided for an additional cost.
  • Bathrooms will be stocked with toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap. Event host is responsible for upkeeping, restocking bathrooms during event operation.
  • Rental reservation must include your set up and tear down times.
  • Event Space use is between 6am & 12am. All attendees and support staff must clear the venue by end of your booking time. Going past the contracted rental time will result in additional charges.
  • No unsupervised minors or children are permitted in the venue.
  • All renters must provide event insurance. Below are convenient resources to buy event insurance:

  • Vendors hired by host must obtain event insurance or general liability insurance. The insurer must provide a liability certificate of insurance naming “2700 Swiss Event Space” a policy holder and hold harmless.
  • All events with Alcohol service must have a TABC Certified personnel, and may require security.
  • No smoking in the building, no hookah (indoors or outdoors) No fog or smoke machines.
  • No glitter confetti or tape on walls.
  • Hanging anything from the ceiling beams is not allowed. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed back materials must be properly removed. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed for repair.
  • No loud yelling or music outside of the venue (please be courteous to our neighbors)
  • All load in and load out times and logistics must be planned and shared with the venue.
  • Renter and Vendors are responsible to remove all trash from the building and place in the provided bins. Failure to do so, will result in additional charges.
  • Everything must be removed from the building at the end of the event, no storage rentals, furniture, or guests’ belongings can be left in the building.
  • Venue comes with a sound system for guests to plug their music playback devices.
  • No DJ or Bands may plug or patch into the venue sound system.
  • Microphones are available for additional charges.
  • Venue has a built-in screen 10’x6’ and 6000 Lumens Laser projector for an additional charge.
  • WIFI is available at NO additional charges. Hardline internet is available for an additional charge.
  • Additional AV equipment available upon request
  • All AV or electrical equipment must not exceed 15amps or 1650 Watts usage per outlet. We have a total of 4 of 15 amps power circuits available to use.
  • All cords must be taped down to the floor or run along walls to avoid hazard.
  • Vendors are NOT allowed to consume alcohol on the premises prior to, during or after the event.
